Linked accounts and eligibility
Get business linked accounts reads linked Facebook, Instagram, advertising, and catalog identities when WhatsApp returns them. Get business eligibility reports upstream account eligibility. It does not grant a Polymorfa entitlement. Both are live lookups. They do not enable background profile tracking.Merchant compliance
Get merchant compliance reads the connected account’s legal entity and customer-care contacts. Update merchant compliance replaces the complete record. Compliance strings are trimmed before validation. Entity names, custom entity types, and grievance-officer names accept at most 256 UTF-8 bytes; email accepts at most 254 UTF-8 bytes; landline and mobile numbers accept at most 64 UTF-8 bytes each. WhatsApp controls whether an account and region can edit these details. An upstream rejection leaves the existing record unchanged.Graph business-profile compatibility
For a Linked Devices or simulated number, Get business profile returns saved fields and Update saved business profile changes them. A real Cloud API number receives capability error131026 from
either method; the request does not reach WhatsApp.
