Polymorfa Sandbox provides testing numbers for development projects. Testing numbers have testMode enabled and do not connect to real WhatsApp recipients. Use Sandbox to verify number-management and signed-in desktop workflows before you register a production number. The current public API supports creating and managing testing sessions. It does not publish Sandbox message send or history endpoints.

Available workflows

The create request requires a development-project UUID. It can also include a display name and a country code of US, GB, BR, or IN. List the project sessions and select rows with testMode: true instead of assuming a fixed number count or phone format.

Limits and billing

Sandbox testing numbers use the Free number tier:
  • 0 credits per online session-day.
  • 5 messages per second per testing number.
  • 0.25 GB of included data per testing number.
  • No real-number registration, campaigns, outbound-call allowance, or serverless-call allowance.
These are number-tier limits. Your organization’s Basic, Premium, or Enterprise team plan is a separate choice.

Desktop claims

In Inspector, choose Open beside a testing number. Inspector claims the number for your device and opens the session. Choose Release to close the session and make the number available again.
