Connect a number

Create a QuickLink and open or share its URL. The hosted page offers QR scanning and phone pairing, then asks the recipient to confirm the connection. QuickLink creates the session for you.

1. Create a QuickLink.
2. Open the returned url on the recipient’s device.
3. Wait for the link’s status to become connected.
4. Save the returned session identifier for messaging requests.

For a complete first request, follow the Quickstart. For a reusable link assigned to a customer, use Customer pairing links.

Manage a connected session

Read the session to check its connection. Use Start, Stop, or Restart to control it.

Build your own pairing interface

Direct-pairing access Direct QR and pairing-code retrieval require direct-pairing access for the team that owns the Number. Without access, these methods return 403.
